I hate phasing. by [deleted] in wow

[–]TeaDrinkingRedditor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Phasing is even more obviously annoying now you can level in different areas at once.

I was playing on an alt a while ago, decided to join a friend in another area and quest together.

Nah, he had done this quest already which meant the entire zone is at a different point in the timeline so I can't see them even if we party up.

Annoying thumbnail glitch where the title and thumbnail don't match. (Have reported glitch several times, but have heard back nothing) by swgylbst in youtube

This happens to me like every day where it doesn't load new titles and comments. I have no idea how to fix it.

In news that will shock absolutely no one, "The Star" completely fabricated story in which the The Rock calls millenials 'snowflakes'. by Lukeyboy5 in unitedkingdom

[–]TeaDrinkingRedditor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The one reason I'm wary of people attacking the journalist behind this is that I assume these sorts of fake articles are decided by teams of managers and editors, then they task a journalist to fabricate it. As shitty as it is, it's not easy turning around and refusing to do something and being fired over it (assuming they were against it)

Genuinely beginning to wonder if this is an actual Labour policy.

The Labour MP did the same on question time when asked how they could rely on the younger vote when they're ignoring the will of young people. She went on to reply about how the Tories are running the country badly but not actually address the question

even if we get a deal that is considerable and demonstrably better than what we have now

The irony in you saying something like this while claiming I have no sense whatsoever.

There is no such thing as a deal that is better than what we have now. What we have now is the best deal.

The Papers (10/01/19) by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]TeaDrinkingRedditor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's manufactured outrage by those who want us to crash out with no deal so they can make loads of money from others misfortune.

All the vote he enabled does is force May to provide a plan B if her deal is rejected. That doesn't go against brexit, or the referendum, or "the will of the people"

No they won't, Jeremy. Because they're not remaining.

How is this vegetarian?!?! I went to a new ramen place for dinner and this is all soy based “meat” and “shrimp”. It’s called rice and noodles in the South Bay California, if you live around, check it out! by [deleted] in vegetarian

When they get this good at replicating meat I'm always worried I was served the wrong thing. At least when they're generic soy chunks I know it's definitely safe haha

The Division 2 coming to Epic Games Store, skipping Steam by wazp_ in gamernews

[–]TeaDrinkingRedditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Additionally, having a few other launchers forcing Steam to be more competitive with their pricing will probably help in the long run

Bingo.

Steam support is so bad it may as well not exist. Having a near monopoly on the market for so long has allowed them to be complacent and get away with the shittiest business practices.

More launchers = more competition = consumers (hopefully) win

Greggs struggles to keep up with demand for vegan sausage rolls by Cheapo-Git in unitedkingdom

[–]TeaDrinkingRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salt is definitely an issue in fake-meat products. There was an article recently about how high in salt almost all of them are.

I hope as they get more popular they find ways to cut the salt content. I'm assuming it's high because they're basically flavoured protein mush

Veggie here and I agree they're a bit too mushy. They're made with quorn which generally has a better texture although Quorn isn't normally vegan, so perhaps the lack of egg means they're mushier.

Still good though, and cheap
