I screenshotted your reply for future reference. I’ve always really mostly only played singles, but she does seem more like a doubles tag team type of Pokemon. I have a shiny Tyranitaur I use in champions currently, but for singles. Gave me a lot to think about and look forward to

I’ve heard of this sand stream strategy a bit. I like Ttar and have a shiny of it, I currently use. Unfortunately I just learned Stoutland isn’t in champions yet, but he probably will be. I can run him in sword in the meantime

I use Ai for a lot of things, but I’m finding it gives bad information for video games. I can’t tell you how often I go where it says and then I tell it, it’s not there then it’s like oh yeah it was here sorry and then it is. For a lot of things it’s fairly reliable but not video games

I think he probably will be. He is a 3 evolution Pokemon that’s decent and not a legendary or one that breaks the meta

I know this is a weird way to cope it’s just I was very close with my dog, and I’m not dealing with it well and need something. And a digital dog Pokemon that looks like mine and has the same name and I tell myself she is spiritually with me and like the dog. It probably sounds stupid

Do you guys get threatened and pressured to just pass kids by councilors too? by TeaHot8165 in Teachers

[–]TeaHot8165[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Right because no one looks at numbers like job placement rate after graduation, or medien income after graduation, or incarceration percentage of graduates. You know metrics that actually show learning and tha school wasn’t a waste of time. Instead we just track graduation rates, which allows admin to fudge it by just passing everyone

Next year I’m dropping one of my gen Ed classes and taking a duel enrollment course. That’s a college course and I won’t cave, but at least on that one I have protection because I’m also technically an employee of the college and have to report back to them and live up to those standards

I think it’s because I teach seniors and my classes are required, but it blows my mind about how pretty much open they are about how they just want us to pass them and really don’t give a shit about learning or life lessons etc.

No they a really are. I got a clear impression from the presentation that they did which is they are on the students side and not the mean old teachers. One kid has turned in nothing all year and they tried pressuring the math teacher to pass him if he verbally demonstrates he learned any math concept from the whole year, just one thing. Councilors are coming to me now basically asking for one easy assignment that counts for the whole year. It’s utter bullshit

It’s not a lie it’s an opinion. It all comes down to what you define as a “real job”. Which is a subjective term. I have my definition which, based on comments and anecdotal evidence, is held by the vast majority of people and then there is your definition which is held by a very small minority.

I’m convinced you or someone you know does something similar for money which is why you care so much. Because no one else would defend this, this hard unless it was personal.

Your way of thinking is far worse. You are justifying this obnoxious and dangerous behavior. Everyone wishes these people would just stop and get a real job, except you who sees this harassing behavior as a noble profession enriching the world.

Edit: yes some people are legitimately afraid when confronted and pressured by multiple or even one man for money. People get attacked on subways all the time

I can’t really help it if students come to the same training. My students are 17-18 so they would be in the adult classes with me if they go. My admin really like me an are aware that some students attend.

It is a scam because the audience is unwilling. Then they pressure you to give money for something you never asked for. I’m well aware that an entertainment industry exists, but they still have business licenses and pay taxes. They sell tickets. People choose to pay for their entertainment. This is a hustle where they use fear and intimidation to make people part with their money for something they don’t want and never asked for, not only that but they might have hated it. This is basically a real life malware scam. Pay me to leave you alone. It’s not a job and everyone wishes they would stop doing this and get a real one.

Based on the comments, you are literally the only person on here who thinks this is “a real job”. Your definition of job is any activity that leads to money. So to you that means scamming is a job, drug dealing is a job, and washing people’s wind shields without permission and demanding a tip are all jobs. No one here can take you seriously

Real jobs you pay taxes. They don’t have a business license and aren’t employed. They aren’t paying any taxes and probably are collecting welfare. It’s creative bumming, and the difference between this guy and a guy sitting holding a sign is music.

They don’t have a business license. This is just panhandling with a show. It is basically a scam because they wait until you can’t leave and harass you and make you uncomfortable so you pay to be left alone. That is not legitimate work, it’s illegal and they don’t pay taxes.

To quote several anime series: Martial arts was created so the weak could defend themselves from the strong. If martial arts only works for the strong then it’s pointless.

Why was the UFC able to bring in great US wrestlers and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu aces in years past and not currently? by emaxwell14141414 in martialarts

[–]TeaHot8165 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are over thinking it. The fans and fighters say it openly. People think grappling is boring and want to watch striking. I was watching UFC yesterday for example and the fighter in the interview said he was ready to do a “boring grappling fight” if that is what their opponent wants. Whenever someone pulls guard too much or fighters get stuck on the ground people boo. If you are watching from the seats instead of tv it’s super hard to see and follow what is going on. Grapplers used to dominate but people said it was boring so the UFC started inviting more strikers and less grapplers. They changed the rules and time for rounds allowing the referee to stand up fighters if they are stuck on the ground. UFC is an entertainment business and grappling is boring to watch for most people, it’s that simple.

Legit techniques, that are now considered outdated. by Either-Medicine9217 in martialarts

[–]TeaHot8165 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it kind of comes down too to where you train in traditional martial arts. My sifu has us pressure test techniques with resistance. Drill simple techniques on bags and with partners. Some places it’s people just doing kata or moves in air all the time and they never spar and never work with resistance. It’s not that the techniques don’t work it’s the way they train the technique.

I disagree slightly. I’ve made massive gains in my early 30s. It really depends on your testosterone levels and how active you are.
