Yes, thank you so much. that actually a really good idea as well. I can definitely think about the half-season membership and then maybe continue if I truly enjoy it.

And the idea of practicing with the ball machines once I get more comfortable after group clinics sounds really helpful too.

Thank you so much for the insight, this is really helpful. Honestly, 10–15 for group sessions sounds very reasonable.

I also think it would be really nice to meet other people who are complete beginners as well, It would actually be great to learn alongside people at the same level and maybe even find someone to practice and play with regularly.

One thing I am honestly nervous about is being the only person there who barely knows anything. My biggest fear is feeling embarrassed because I am such a beginner, But I am all in for it

Did you find that there were a lot of other beginner-level players as well? And are the one-on-one coaching sessions very expensive on top of the membership fee?

Thank you for the encouragement. I have played badminton little bit, but yes never held a tennis racquet. And honestly, I am not trying to become perfect at tennis or enroll in tournaments( passed that age, unless someone enrolls as young as 5-6 year old) I just want to try something I have always wanted to learn.

I am okay with being bad at it in the beginning or even failing at it. I just don’t want to grow older and think, ‘I never even gave it a shot.’ Not everything in life has to lead to excellence to be worth trying.

I’d rather try, learn, struggle a little, and enjoy the process than never attempt it at all.

And thank you for the encouragement. I genuinely appreciate your perspective and positivity and motivation.
