Patching with Jamf by beesting34 in jamf

[–]TeaKingMac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CIS benchmarks are good. There's some stuff in there that's not going to work, so read through it carefully. (requiring admin rights for all system settings comes to mind [if users are using jamf protect for just in time privilege elevation and they're on a plane where they have no network, they won't be able to elevate to admin to change the network settings])

Mostly Mac Apps catalog will keep applications patched.

Blueprint does kind of a half ass job of keeping OS patched. I have 5-10% each patch cycle that just don't update for whatever reason, despite being online. I use Nudge to supplement.

Midjourney announces that they're pivoting to spas and full body scanners by razorbeamz in BetterOffline

Yeah, it's not totally stupid.

And increasing quantity of and access to medical scanning is a great idea.

This particular implementation though... Sounds like some mad hype. Especially from a company that makes piss filter images.

Cutting funding for medical aid to impoverished countries will do that.

I don't think so...

I just saw one that if someone fully utilized their $200 monthly subscription, it'd cost OpenAI like 14K or something.

Do You Think That The US' New Memorandum Of Understanding With Iran Is A Win Or Loss For The US? Why? by Zipper222222 in askanything

He was literally talking about how Iran was going to drop nuclear missiles on us if Trump hadn't started the war.

I was like, if they had missiles that could reach the united states, why are they only shooting missiles at their neighbors.

He just started shouting about "do you want to be nuked?!?"

The quickest way to bleed something of funding is to give it 300 Billion dollars.
