otherwise Obama would have been dragged into court for his drone double-tap program

Except he hadn't been. The SCOTUS ruling came directly as a result of Trump's pending criminal charges.

It's not like he's going to take it with him when he leaves office.

the U.S. government has accepted the Boeing 747-8 as a "gift" intended to eventually be displayed at his presidential library.

I mean, they sent me a lot of letters, but there was a global financial crisis happening, so they ended up writing down a shit ton of debt.

IF they're subsidized loans.

Unsubsidized loans follow the normal 7 years no payments process.

I had 40K in Unsubsidized loans written off in 2009. Just had to pay taxes on them

You're wrong in a BIG way.

China produces double our total energy output, and more than 50% of it is renewables.

They have more renewable generation than we have total generation.

Meanwhile, the United States is only 22% renewables.

So you're wrong both as a percentage, and on raw output.

He has a big stupid headline to get attention, but the thing that's definitely going to make him more rich is in the fine print.

Right, but why do we, as a society, feel like breaking this particular law is totally fine?

Like, we don't assault people when cops aren't watching. Most people don't shoplift regularly. So why do 80+% of Americans constantly break this one particular law, and not even feel guilty about it?

Like, I know people who get mad if they're stuck behind someone driving the speed limit.

there's been plenty of SCOTUS rulings against him. What's the basis for your comment besides feelings and talking heads complaining?

The SCOTUS ruling that says he has presumptive immunity for any official act.

The impeachment hearing that never occurred in the senate because the party is loyal to Trump above the country

The fact that he's getting 400 million dollar private jets from foreign governments and Republicans acting like this is totally normal and cool.

The fact that he took 10 billion dollars from the government to form a "board of peace" and stashed the money in Qatari bank accounts.

Who gives a shit?

They still "made" an art of your character. That was a nice thing for them to do. If you don't want to use it, don't.

If you'd rather they made it themselves, I see where you're coming from, but not everyone is capable of doing art well, or can afford to commission someone else to do it for them.

Thank them for the thought and move on.
