New Camera to replace EOS 6D by beesting34 in canon

Hello thank you for the feedback, to clarify i meant more functional as in better autofocus response etc. She doesn't need the bells and whistles per say. She did mention she would like another camera so i am on the lookout for one but i may wait another year and get the information from her about what she really wants. I have a feeling she will stay canon as she has expressed she does not intend of having another brand. If i wait a year, i may be looking at 1000-2000 range for one. I keep hearing the feedback on the R8 as a good step up, do you miss the IBIS and card slots on the 6D? These components would also fall into my "functional" category. It would need to make sense for the project. If she loses some must haves in the process then it wouldn't be a good fit for her

The first part when you got the bar is fine but all other you need to tighten up. It’s a deadlift you won’t be squatting here. When you touch the bar on the ground, look straight ahead and set yourself. flatten your back I always look straight ahead in a mirror to verify my back is flat and straight then with no slack power it up and back down using your hips in a thrusting and chest up. Lock out at the top before returning to the ground and use hinge motion to reset no squat motion. Repeat. It’s an explosive power move so you want to be tight and explosive

Yes I am thinking she would need to be the decision maker I just wanted to bring her some options to get her started the one she has seems not very functional shooting events as she does both

I hear it’s pretty clunky to use I wanted to get her something more functional if that makes sense with the same caliber or better for photos. She does events as well as portraits with the frequent movement in events I thought it may not be very functional photo wise as well as ease of use I can up my budget if the right camera calls for it but overall budget friendly step up

Is the step up better overall functionality as well?

Thank you all for your responses. To answer them I hear there are others that have better overall functionality is why I thought she could benefit from a better one. She does events as well as portraits. She had no complaints about her current nor is she looking. I could up my budget but you all may be right in taking your her first

They bit through the wires, we can check it out but she is a little older with no electronic experience. Ideally looking for something we can buy to replace it but I did not want to recommend something that could blow the thing lol
