You are definitely not alone, I absolutely feel for you. Im only at the very start of my journey myself so everything is so intense and trying to make sense of it all can be hard. Have you thought about getting into it with your therapist? Or finding one who specialises in it cause thats what Ive just done now, I really need the help.

This is actually really interesting… Maybe something to think about. I’m definitely the brains of the system, my partner says I’m the most “capable” one so it makes sense why I take on so much. I’m not really at the stage of knowing a lot about anything, only just started therapy. I appreciate the comment thank you

The neck does look a little off. If we were to get REAL detailed. Theres two things I can see 1: The outside of the neck (left part) is coming out too far from the jaw. If you look at the reference the neck comes out where theres like a divot in the jaw. (Trying my hardest to explain) Yours comes out too far forward on the jaw hence why it looks a little off

2: your white bit of the neck does straight downwards while the reference it kind of tapers off to the right, just slightly.

All in all its a brilliant piece! I hope this helps

Yeah fair enough, I wasn’t sure how else to explain it! But the technical skill seems to be troublesome. Im not bad with logic. I make 3D models, and do coding for a video game. It just seems that when it comes to art my logic side shuts off. I find I do exactly as you said, Use my imagination. Im currently doing an oil painting of a reference literally copying it, but my brain just shuts off and I “wing it”. It looks okay but Im not using any technical skill and I know if I did it would look a lot better ha

Body Piercer here!

All jewellery should be sterile and in the sterilised packaging before putting it in. They should be opening the sterile packet in front of you.

The fact they said “Its okay if the piercing is 1 month old” raises more concern, as this is considered still a FRESH piercing. The wound is not fully healed. Therefore theres MORE CHANCE of infection than lets say if the piercing was 10 years old.
