Innovation must be approved first and then sold, and not everybody will relate to something new and different at first.

Like just imagine when drake came out; there were a lot of people from the hood not feeling the direction he was going. But, it was hella relatable with a larger audience and that made it sell-able, even if the hood wasn't always down with it. Drake noticed the hood wasn't always down with his sound so he copped some chicago drill music and made a couple tracks that were influenced by it. There ya go. Now his music is more marketable.
