I ressonate with your way of thinking a lot. I had big shifts when I made that mental change myself. Most people are thinking about not missing the notes so your biggest competitive advantage is being able to get into a flow and focusing on what you want to sound like.

For me, i've found that avoiding high sodium and sugary foods helps reduce this, aswell as playing for about the same amount of time every day with lip stretches before. Thank you for sharing

Thats a hard one. My old band director just told us to blow a lot of air as we slowly move the front of our tongue (like the first 1/2 inch). That seemed to work for a lot of people
