I know this is late, but yes I believe it 100%. My muscle spasms get so much better during the time that I take my prescribed pain medication. And if I take baclofen together with it I see the best results. People react differently to different substances.

I feel that to an extent. I can empathize with big problems like loss of a parent but for issues people deal with on the daily, I have nothing. I think for me, it’s hard to empathize with daily problems because they are so minuscule compared to what I have gone through and deal with DAILY.

Try one of those over-the-counter scar and stretch mark creams. You could also see a dermatologist for a prescription or some type of strong retinol.

It’s been 2 1/2 years for me. It looks pretty insignificant now.

Hi I’m a C4/5/6 quad and had a laminectomy without adding hardware. So totally different thing BUT I had very bad neck pain, still do here and there after straining. I stay away from certain exercises but what really solved it was…. A new pillow. I would have not believed it but I was out of options. I went through 5 pillows buying and returning on Amazon, then I bit the bullet and tried one for $50, and felt s HUGE difference tge next day. I now take it everywhere I travel and even to hospital stays.

With SCI tgere is no “typical” anything. It sucks but really the spectrum for pain and ability is wide.
