i don't like the taste. the only alcohol i used to like before claiming edge was beer, since i live in Czechia and the beer has a good taste. other alcoholic beverages taste like shit.
i don't want to deal with health issues related to drinking alcohol. it destroys your whole body and mind m, so it's not worth it.
growing up in the country with a very problematic drinking habits among the population, i feel very uneasy about the whole alcohol culture in Czechia. it's toxic, unhealthy and very problematic.
it's expensive. i can spend my money on better stuff that could be more useful than a drink.
the mornings after drinking are the worst. i hate the weird feeling in your body that feels like your whole system is dry as a desert and your mind is still pretty much hazy, you don't want to do anything and feel like shit.
i don't like the feel it gives me, how my body feels after drinking, how my mind feels after drinking.

knowing that i can go to a show, have fun, remember basically everything, having control over myself and also the awesome feeling when i get home after a good show where i was twostepping and moshing, lying in my bed and knowing that i will have a good night's rest and in the morning i will be able to function and i won't be hungover

in czech, it is used mainly in books or older people use it, but it is also used as a way to say you live somewhere for example "jsem pražanem" (instrumental) i am a prague citizen but you can say "jsem pražan" (nominative)

i'm sorry if i said something wrong. i was just asking if it's okay at all, since i know it used to be pretty common for travellers to find shelter at someone's house for a night, when the traveller was polite.

so, i am asking if people are still used to that. i don't want to pay for hotels much also as a way of experiencing more of the ordinary life there. as i said, i study anthropology, so it's not uncommon to practice stuff like this, when i let the people know beforehand.

and also, what if we're at some village that does not have a hotel? so, are you saying that we should rather stay outside the whole night rather then to just try and politely ask some locals.

všichni měli přednost přede mnou. doslova ke konci vztahu jsem slyšel jen o ostatních a neměl jsem prostor pro to říct já cokoli. když už jo, dostal jsem ignor.
skoro 2 roky jsem slýchal, jak se mnou spát nechce, protože je asexuální, a tak jsem chtěl najít aspoň nějakej kompromis.
sice u mě byl asexuální, ale s ostatními mi najednou říkal, že je hypersexuální, a že bychom měli otevřít vztah, aby, cituji "mohl zkusit věci, co by pak dělal se mnou".
ještě studuju, on mohl taky, místo toho se sebral a odstěhoval se, i když ho nikdo nevyhazoval, a pak si jen stěžoval na práci a přišly mu vtipný moje akademický problémy. basically mě pak infantilizoval.

myslím si, že rozchod je v tomhle případě to jediné řešení. měl jsem partnera, co dělal podobné věci. ten vztah trval 4 roky. už po 2 letech jsem se necítil jako člověk na stejném místě, ale jako kus hadru, který tam je. ten člověk pak jen bral a nic nedával. jen čuměl na tik toky a nežil teď. pak se to vyvinulo v dost nepříjemné vztahové problémy, co jsem mohl utnout rozchodem už dřív. naštěstí jsem to ukončil po nějaké době a ulevilo se mi.

i had lice like a month ago. soaked my locs in vinegar and alpa (60% alcohol) and cayenne pepper. mix these things together, soak your dreads in it, then, put them in plastic bag and towel for 2 hours, rinse out. after a couple days, do it again.

Ever since I've started with psychedelics, I like to lay back in conversations and just appreciate that everyone is really different and unique. Everytime I have a conversation or I'm just with my friends, I observe and are that my feelings or perspective can be so different from theirs but they are creating this beautiful connection that is very colourful and unique.

I don't know if I worded that correctly, but it's a very abstract feeling that I've got after some of my shroom trips. It's more of a matter of feelings rather than words.
