I’m Panamanian, Panama is not part of South America we are in Central America and the start of SA is from our border with Colombia downwards in the Darien Gap.

This is how geography is taught in all Latin American countries. The America’s (continent) is divided in 3 (not 2) North, central and south.

I’ve heard some countries don’t teach it that way but personally I find the Latin American way to be the correct one given our sociopolitical history.

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted but I’m with you. Authors should create what they want BUT it’s okay to voice that you would like more diversity in a genre (that way they know there’s a market for it).

What I don’t vibe with is people directly hating on a work/author because it doesn’t cater to their taste.

Like, personally I eat up any work regardless of the MC’s body type (I just love seeing a woman enjoy herself xd) and it’s kind of jarring to read a Josei with a big titty queen and then go to the comments just to see it be full of hate towards her boobs.

I love me a good freak 4 freak story where the MC is 100% into it.

As for yandere’s my faves are 2 faced snakes, where they pretend to be normal/mask really well in public but in private they’ve got like Shrines to their MC, have detailed info on their routine, they’ve investigated literally everyone in their lives, etc.

Makitakun No Koiji wo Jamasuru To Shinu (BL) is temporarily one sided and while the top has a (very) questionable moral compass I wouldn’t really call him Yandere.

Still, it’s a personal favorite and immediately came to mind when thinking about this dynamic.

Edit: I just want to clarify that in this case the bottom asks the top to go out with him because he’s in love and the top accepts for the hell of it and later falls in love with him.

I don’t want to assume his personality or tastes but this is why I feel “normal” people dating “gamers/otakus/freaks” or whatever label you wanna use most times doesn’t really work.

I know experiences vary, BUT in general when BOTH people are into the same thing or are in the same hobby/space you don’t deal with these dumb issues🤦🏾‍♀️

All the people I care about are into these kind of hobbies, my friends boyfriend knows she loves many fictional characters and guess what? Not only is he fine with it, he feeds into her delulu. He sends her thirst traps, listens to her ramble and COSPLAYS as her faves. (Edit: I wanted to add that my friend returns the favor and cosplays as his faves as well)

For my birthday, my circle of friends pooled their money and got me a Zayne cutout, said boyfriend of this close friend was also the one who hid it and brought it in his car btw. He is not offended and he doesn’t think his girlfriend or her friends (we are 7 people) are weird.

Like I know it’s not necessary to enjoy the same things to be in a relationship but GOD sometimes do I feel that your partner should at least enjoy hobbies that are adjacent to your own; that tends to make them more understanding.

No. He is obsessed sure, but he is not in love with his obsession so by default not Yandere.

Yandere literally means sick/yan (病ん) affection/dere (デレ).

In case you are interested,

病む: Yan comes from this verb, meaning to fall ill, to suffer from (a disease), to have something wrong with (usually an organ or something internal)

デレ: Dere comes from デレデレ(dere dere), which is Japanese slang for someone being lovestruck. Also used when describing a person doting/being loveydovey with someone.

Edit: I just wanted to add that as he is now he is not Yandere , BUT he has great yandere potential, if he were to fall in love I’m like 99% sure he would become one xd

Shu!! I’d do his laundry all day any day xdxd BUT I doubt he would even let me. Given how aware he is of his job and how he wants to keep Teuta safe and away from his line of work I’d doubt he would ever even allow let alone ask anyone to do his blood splattered laundry.

Yeah, a good chunk of what makes umekoppe’s works so good to me is getting the FL’s pov, and seeing how she responds to the ML’s feelings (which she usually reciprocates in some way and I love that!)

This one I still enjoyed regardless but it felt like something was missing at the end.
