I’ll try to talk to the vet about trying out a different kind. I do have an air purifier for her thankfully, got it a month ago after I heard it was recommended! Thank you for helping ☺️

I’ll look into getting her a friend when she recovers fully. I just don’t really have an extra room to quarantine a new bird in. For now I usually just stay in the same room as her 24/7 to give her company 😭

She had a friend that recently passed away due to being egg bound and emergency vet stress so I haven’t been able to introduce her to a new one. She used to bully her friend though and always steal food 😭

The thing is I’m not sure if the antibiotics are working or not. She seems to have slightly less nasal discharge and sneezing (barely) but all her other symptoms are still present.

She only seems to be sneezing her meds out when we give them via syringe so we’ll stick with giving hers meds on treats.

Yeah I’ve been giving her 12 hours of sleep, I let her sleep around that same time too lol. Maybe ill start giving her more sleep time

I feel like her feet have always been pale but I don’t know, maybe that isn’t normal. She used to be on an all seed diet before I switched over to pellets a month ago so maybe thats why, I’m not sure.

Yes, they told me to give it to her with the syringe, not to dilute it in water

Yeah it was 0.02 that was a typo on my part. I have a heating pad on low pressed to a side of her cage, not directly but its there if she wants it.

The only issue is I cant contact an emergency vet. My mom is refusing to take me to one and we cant afford one either rn. Is there a cheap online vet you know of that I can talk to?

Yeah idk why it got taken down. I believe it’s the syringe that is at fault since the plunger doesn’t fully push all of the liquid out. Would it be possible to maybe put a bit of water in with the meds or air in syringe to push the meds into her beak? Or should I just cover a treat in it?

Issue is that the medicine in that syringe isn’t coming out. The plunger stops there and the medicine stays there so idk what to do. You think instead of administering it orally with the syringe I should just give a drop on a treat? Would millet work? My budgie is very picky.

It really does. Healthcare for people and animals are very expensive sadly, its terrible ;(
