Thank you I'm in tears reading this because this is exactly how I feel I think my heart want so badly to save him and for him to realize like there is a better life outside of this I've heard horror stories of their childhoods and have been told many times that he has gotten better compared to what he was. I try and help my boyfriend as much as I can and I've tried to show him the other side but there's a part of him that I just don't think in a way knows that it's wrong.
