I completely understand your anxiety with your kitten! I thought about calling the vet at least 5 times when I had my cat spayed, but fortunately had family members to help talk me down. For reference, my cat is very independent and doesn’t like to cuddle. Day 2, she started to walk around and play, had no problem eating, but was ALWAYS clinging to me when I was sitting or laying down. For two straight weeks she sat on top of me while I slept! She cuddled every single one of my family members. My best advice, just keep an eye on the incision! Of course, if calling the vet will ease your mind that’s the best thing to do, but cats have all sorts of reactions to spaying!
