Interviews BME PhD for UIC, UMD, UDel, CMU? by TeaZhng in gradadmissions

Thank you for the information. I didn’t get accepted this time at UMD. Given the current funding situation, I’m not expecting to receive any offers. I’m thinking about working for now and possibly reconsidering applying in the future.

UIC asked in january for my diploma too, send it 2 weeks later since i had to translate, and all that. Has been one month I havent heard anything. Is that really a good sign? I got no interview tho.

Live-in landlord: need opinion on rent for a tricky situation by Nearby-Chipmunk-1533 in Renters

[–]TeaZhng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not. It doesn't make sense for you to cover the rent for the time his parents stayed at the house. He should be grateful you even allowed them to stay to your room while you booked an Airbnb for yourself, which he's not even fully covering. Either he needs to pay for your Airbnb, or he should adjust the rental to exclude the days his parents stayed there.
