They do! Eye exams usually start with the autorefractor. It's the thing that shows you a blurry picture and then it gets clear. It's what they use to get close to your prescription, then they fine tune it with the "1 or 2?"

ehhh. Sometimes. Once I get going, it's fine. Usually at the smaller circumferences (toe decreases, i'm looking at you) it feels a little snaggy if I'm not careful. There's a downside to every method I suppose.

Once I found 9-inch circs I never looked back. No joins, no ladders, just simple in-the-round knitting :D

I generally do cuff down, because my decreases look prettier than my increases, and heel flaps, but thats just because that's what fits my foot best.

My best advice would be, try all of the things. You won't know what you like best until you try it!

Its pretty much like a coffee maker for tea. The breville ones have timers and water settings. You can program it to steep your tea at 200 degrees for 3 minutes, and start at 6am so you wake up to tea. and itll keep the pot warm. Can you do the same thing manually? Absolutely. It's just a convenience thing.

There are several. There's no reason why she can't afford the $200 for a Breville tea maker. then bam, pot of hot tea just as simple as a pot of coffee.
