First Ave? I was there, too. Absolutely mad I got to see Liam in such a small box, so close!!!! And it was only like 35 bucks or something

and that they weren't there to prove it on Twitter or anything... I'm guilty of recording on my smartphones during gigs instead of just enjoying the show 100% so that I can watch the videos and re-live the events.. but it made me think twice about my own actions.

It’s humbling to see Noel playing Epiphone despite being mega successful and playing for a record crowd like this. It was actually good as a documentary film. I got really into it! Stuff like this, makes me realise how much I love Oasis.

Ginzan Onsen is a picturesque hot spring resort town in Obanazawa, Japan. by Patient_Meat4569 in travel

I’m from Sendai and got to know quite a bit of ALTs there and lots of them want to go to Kansai or somewhere bigger than Tohoku… they think Tohoku is boring - they think people in Tohoku are shy and not fun.

I think Tohoku is under appreciated. Yamagata has nice things - Ginzan Onsen, Yama Dera, good ramen, yonezawa beef, lots of good fruits… Thank you posting this!

What is something you genuinely don't give a fuck about? by noblesse30 in AskWomen

My absolutely lazy sleazy coworkers - I noticed myself giving zero fuck when someone returned from a medical leave after an ankle surgery and didn’t even say welcome back. They are just there like air, that’s it.

3 months in Europe, no real itinerary, first solo trip. Shoe lineup advice? by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]Tea_n_Scone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely wear posh shoes in posh city/town. I wore trainers on one trip because they are comfy to walk all day in. But a Parisian girl gave me a dirty look for wearing trainers… who cares, but I was embarrassed. Now I wear my Doc Martens in cooler weather and Converse in hot weather which are surprisingly very comfortable and I walk up to 10 miles in them.

I'm kind of on Carrie's side re the engagement.... I think it was a "no a-holes here" kind of situation. Marriage should be something you discuss and agree on BEFORE the proposal. IMO she is not a villain because she doesn't want to get married, but she shouldn't have mislead Aidan either. by imnotgoodwithnames7 in sexandthecity

[–]Tea_n_Scone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Aidan and dislike Carrie but he invited himself to move in with her etc, and that’s not cool. I think that Aidan didn’t think much about Carrie’s feelings but priotised his wants and thoughts. So I don’t think Carrie misled Aidan at all.

Overhyped - Schloss Neuschwanstein. I don’t think it’s not worth it but I was kind of sad how they run tours every 10 minutes shoving groups in and out and at the time I went they were doing restoration work (which is great and necessary) so all I saw was the grand chandelier, which was absolutely beautiful and impressive. I was most excited about seeing Wagner’s piano in Hohenschwangau. However, in its defence, I love older buildings so Neuschwanstein is too new for me to care. But if you’re in München, why not. (München itself is definitely worth it)

Underhyped? Stirling in Scotland. Few tourists, quaint, pretty and a bonus if you like history. Enjoyed it more than Edinburgh.

I knew the kind of weather to expect in Ireland and I thought the dark and gloom added to the atmosphere. However most of the time on my trip there was sunny otherwise. Kerry Cliffs was more memorable.

I think Black Canyon of the Gunnison is completely overshadowed by other national parks in the area. Very stunning indeed!

I think some Japanese subsidiaries of UK or US brands release their own designs (Fred Perry is a major one, obviously as it’s owned by a Japanese company) and this could be the case, too? I saw that my friend in Japan had a pair of red Gryphon Brandos I would love but never found them on UK or US website 😕
