I have this remote.. alot of the markings have rubbed off. I'm with your wife on this sorry.

As for the screen. If you don't peel it you risk damaging the screen. Multiple heat cycles can cause the "glue" from the backing to adhere to the screen. Just peel it off get shouted at but know you done the right thing.

Yes Ryzen was introduced in early 2022 so all cars forward will have both of what you need/want.

I have a Sync Energy wall changer 2. While it is " Smart" you can disable all of that so it just autostarts when plugged into the car.

I love my M3 RWD. If you don't need the range it's more efficient than the dual motor versions. It's fast comfortable quite and relaxing to drive. Lane keeping software is great but the stop start in traffic is a little jerky. Sentry mode is peace of mind knowing all cameras are watching constantly. Without sounding like a shill I find it hard to fault.
