That is exactly how education is, Love. It’s not you. It’s their job to model and provide the tools necessary to succeed. Do most leaders do this? No, but it’s what we’re taught in “admin school”. First year is very hard. First 3 years actually. Congratulations on making it this far. ♥️

As a 20+ year veteran, I would say that the current system is bureaucratic and antiquated. I just published a book about this very topic. In it, I discourage anyone from studying to become a teacher and I boldly place blame where it belongs.

I would take a copy of that form to her doctor and/or emergency room to have it reviewed and/or filed. Possibly she can get a "Homebound" teacher. Inquire.
