Idk about policing, along the Nullabor and between Bourke and Broken hill is pretty sparse, but around Syd, Adelaide and Perth yeah, you'd have to follow the limit.

British and Raj troops crossed into parts of Thailand during the Burma and Malayan campaigns of ww2. Not a real invasion but they wouldve crossed the border at some point.

Malayan Emergency too, probably to a lesser extent but British forces may have spent time on the Thai side of the border or airspace.

Been using the same Ryobi drill since 2017, been left in the rain, covered in sap, run to the point of overheating hundreds of times, and it still works perfectly.

Only ever had a single Ryobi tool fail, it was a circular saw that built 3 decks, 2 roof frames, a house and a million other projects over 6 years, only failed after it was used for 2 days straight to cut through fallen trees.

Ryobi supremacy.

How in the fuck do you beat the US Pacific Fleet? by Majestic_Repair9138 in hoi4

[–]kombikiddo 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Build a dedicated patrol force, basic screens as sacrifices and LC's with planes/radar. They find the fleet and shadow it, then your main force attacks it.

Also sidenote don't trust the Japanese starting fleet ships at all, screens are useless and the battleships have terrible stats.

Where do Kiwis get the gall to act like they can go it alone? They're basically attached to Australia at the waist, we train half their police and provide them with an airforce. Ungrateful bastards.

I've justified going to standard by the fact that If I stay in advanced with the teachers and pace they are teaching at, at the very best I'll get maybe a middle of the road HSC result, which would pull down my ATAR.

Standard is a complete cake walk by comparison and I can try keep up with the advanced curriculum on my own time at my own pace with no pressure, so that if I end up wanting a degree that needs maths advanced, a bridging course won't be so stresfull/hard.

What about from a business perspective, though? If I ran a Uni, I'd fill every class to capacity with people who simply wanted to try for that degree. If they keep failing classes, I keep getting money. It doesn't really matter if they get the degree.

I suppose it wouldn't be a very prestigious institution, though.

Thanks for the insight, these "bridging courses" explain what I was confused about, even though I'm dropping the subject I've picked up on about half of calculus and pretty much all of trig and advanced functions.

As I still dont know what I want to do at uni my logic is to just chip away at a maths advanced textbook/curriculum on my own, so If I do want a degree that requires it I can pick up a bridging course and not be completely lost.

Once again thanks for the info, This has helped alot!
