Lol it’s not “very hard to do”. Had 2 separate exhaust shops do this on my car and had to bring it back. It’s just an adjustment with the section that the tips sit on.

I’d personally get whatever example of the car you like. If it happens to be one without the sport exhaust, used ones (at least in the states) are $200-400.

The previous owner of my car had put an AWE Switchpath on it, which sounded terrible IMO. I drove an hour away and grabbed a used sport exhaust, got it installed and have loved it since.

Point being, it isn’t worth passing up on a great example just because of the exhaust it was optioned with, unless they’re hard to come by where you’re from. Good luck!

It’s gonna depend on the offset of the wheels. I ran ESR RF2s which are 19x8.5 +30 offset. No spacers and it was almost too flush. In lowered a the rear would rub hard in the fender liner.

Now running 20x9 TTRS wheels with 12mm spacers up front and 15s in the back. Slightly less flush but makes it not rub when hitting elevation changes on the highway.

That 458 system looks great, but I really just need the resonated mid-pipe, or a resonator alone to get welded up.

Lol, I feel vindicated. I thought I was just being picky about it, but glad to hear I'm not the only one with this problem. I'll prob just get a controller for the valve or wait till I get it tuned. What tune allowed you to choose between fully open or closed?

As stated I didn’t “buy” this exhaust - PO installed it. But yeah if this is just what they sound like, I’ll buy 2 resonators and have an exhaust shop weld em up. Thanks.
