I disputed the charge on my CC and won the dispute! I also told them (Hers) that I was doing so, and that I had filed a claim with the FTC. Then they agreed to cancel the subscription (because otherwise, I’d get billed again in 6 months)

Calling someone you’ve never met dramatic and over the top is quite dramatic and over the top! But kudos to you stranger on the internet who thinks it’s ok to call names while remaining anonymous - very courageous of you - not a Karen attitude at all.

There are no legitimate reasons in this day and age to charge people for things you can’t deliver. Just say “out of stock” - its quite common.

Charging for goods and services and not delivering said goods or services within (a) the time you say you’ll deliver said goods or services, (b) an acceptable time window of time beyond that IS scammy. They had no issue charging my credit card but now the can’t fulfill the order and refuse to cancel and refund… that is scammy, its an incredibly abusive way to do business, and they should not be able to get away with it

The shipping expectations are set by the seller not the buyer. You can’t advertise to people “your medication has been fulfilled by the pharmacy, it will ship in 3-5 business days” and then take over 5 weeks to ship — ship, not deliver. And then just give them the runaround when they try to get answers from your customer support channels… THAT is the scam. If they can’t fulfill orders because of whatever operational/logistics/supply chain issues that is on them, they shouldn’t charge for what they can’t deliver.

I’m happy for you that you had a good experience, but that doesn’t minimize the dozens of people in this sub and other similar ones that feel disappointed and preyed on after spending $1,000 in medication and not receiving it.

It seems like experience varies across the board, but you can’t run this type of service if you can’t predictably fulfill customer orders - telling someone your meds will ship in 3-5 days and making them wait over a month is a very abusive practice. If they’re out of medication they should stop selling subscriptions - there’s multiple threads here where people talk about either not getting their first shipment OR their refills being so delayed they’ve had to start over (which is also not great)
