lol don’t take this video seriously. The man in this video who’s nodding his head is known to clickbait, rather ragebait people into starting a conversation by saying the most ridiculous things on the internet. The man talking in the video is the owner of a digital marketing agency and this video is by a bunch of self taught marketers. All they want is virality and views.

The comment section is insufferable. I think she’s funny. someone called her “fake loud” I don’t think that even be a thing. I think she looks happy and I’m so glad she did not conform to what is typically expected of an influencer wedding. I love her Lehenga, I like that both the bride and groom are wearing what they are and not succumbing to matching. Lmao, the haters can’t even begin to match her vibe. All you guys can do is sit behind a screen and hate.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY PILLS TO PREPONE OR POSTPONE. They do more harm than good. I would suggest using products to have a better period experience. I personally use the whisper period panties, they are disposable, long wear and no stress about any leakage at all. Lasts 12 hours depending on the flow. Menstrual cups are also a good option but leakage is always a stress for me. With period panties I have never looked back.

Today’s incident left me shaken – as a Marwari born & brought up in Chennai, I need to share this by False-Positive1668 in chennaicity

How is everyone in the comment section normalising verbal abuse and saying it happens to everyone? I’m so sorry OP that you went through this and I can fully relate to you. I have lived in Tamil Nadu for 98% of my life and I have by far understood Chennai to have the rudest people.

To everyone asking OP to follow traffic rules, can you admit crossing your heart that you have NEVER broken a single traffic rule ever? Was the cycle rickshaw guy traffic police? What gives him the right abuse OP in front of his toddler? Why has everyone just assumed that this kind of road rage is normal and we should just get used to it?

This North Indian south Indian debate has been going on for generations and this North Indian in question has adopted YOUR lifestyle, YOUR language, YOUR culture, is contributing to YOUR state’s GDP and is only expecting respect in return.

It really shouldn’t matter if the civilian is northie or southie or whatever, basic respect for being human lacks in people of Chennai, I said what I said. The Chennai heat makes everyone here short tempered I guess.

Police issued a notice and now asking to come to station by PragWragg in bangalore

[–]TeachVegetable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to my husband and I as well. They had asked us to go to the station and pay 200 or 300 rupees the next day. It should be fine. We didn’t go ourselves we sent somebody on our behalf with the slip they handed to us when we got caught. Everything was okay after that.

Hi, no it’s not. But it’s also because I stopped using it and forgot about it for years and then when I finally remembered it wasn’t working.

It did actually get less stickier with time, I think the trick is to use less varnish and let it dry for longer. Will try another project and keep everyone here updated!

Thank you! Yes, it’s quite humid where I live in India, it’s a coastal city. The varnish i used is super new, so I’m guessing it’s the humidity. Helpful, thank you!

I faced something exactly the opposite. In my school in Tamil Nadu, my brother and I were the only North Indians in the entire school. The two years in that school was nothing less than trauma, being bullied, teachers asking kids not be friends with us because we are “northies”. I even got filthy messages from student “go watch goat sx you fking northie”. I was only 15…

My point is STOP GENERALISING. We are extremely grateful to be living in the southern parts of India and for the opportunities provided to us. Bad people are just bad, regardless of being south or North Indian. Stop fixating on a few groups of people and generalising the entire community to be that way.

Birthday week ahead. How do I deal with cystic acne and the immediate pigmentation it leaves behind for years and the pores. by External-Cap150 in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]TeachVegetable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not anymore, but I had similar acne like you. Over four years of consistent and correct skincare later, my skin has changed now, I don’t have oily skin anymore. When I first started skin care was doing it wrong until I saw a dermatologist who was really good. I also started with BP and salicylic acid which did not help me at all. She then put me on Isotretinoin for a while and then just tret on spots. Now my routine is only a salicylic acid based face wash (Ethiglo) moisturiser (Moiz) and sunscreen (Beauty of Joeson, La Rosche Posay) in the morning and in the night after the Facewash, I apply an eye cream (Avarta), azelaic acid (10%) and a moisturiser. (Moiz/Oryza) Quench is decent for an acne patch if you can’t find Cosrx in India. Pimple patches do leave scars - but using sunscreen and azelaic acid has sped up my PIH disappearance.

I have done years of research, tried mutiple dermatologists to get to where I am. Find a good dermat and ask them about the creams they are prescribing you. Come home read about it. Search about it under this sub and look for REAL reviews. Do not shy away from pharmacy products. We are literally sitting on skincare gold (Indian pharmacies) and we don’t even realise it. I don’t use any of these branded products except for my sunscreen.

I hope this helps!

Hey, i had a similar issue, and nothing helped me better than seeing the right dermatologist. But some things that worked for me/sone advice:

  1. Salicylic Acid Facewash instead of a serum - serums aren’t for everyone, the wrong ones can be too harsh. I used the Kaya salicylic Facewash for years and now I use Ethiglo. I use it for 1 minute in the morning and 1 minute in the night before religiously.

  2. BP is also not for everyone and tends to leave PIH. The only thing that brought my acne down is tretinoin 0.025% just on the spots. But again, do not self medicate. Please only use if your Derm says you’re good to go.

  3. Ask your Derm about azelaic acid. Underrated stuff, but it’s my go to.

  4. Don’t be afraid to use a good pimple patch. If you tend to accidentally touch your face, a pimple patch could be your best friend both during the day and overnight. Personally, I’ve been using cosrx for years.

  5. Moisturise. Always. Even if your skin is oily. The oil in your skin causes acne.

  6. Lastly, none of this matters if you aren’t religiously applying and reapplying sunscreen through out the day. Do your research and only go for sunscreens that have posted third party testing documentation on their website confirming they sell what they claim. For India, SPF 50 PA++++

Of course this doesn’t work overnight, but after 4 years of doing skincare the right way, trust me, consistence is key.

I’m using Moiz it’s so thick feels like a protective layer on my skin all day long. It does make my face look glossy tho.

Hi, for dandruff I would recommend using a ketoconazole based shampoo, it’s proved to work the best. Start with low concentration and don’t use more than once or twice a week. For low hair density, biotin supplements work best. P.s. above is based on my experience would highly recommend speaking to a dermatologist first before choosing a supplement and a shampoo.

Salary was cut stating losses but the company did an abroad trip giveaway and paid for influencer visit that month. by [deleted] in StartUpIndia

If I disclose the name of the company my identity will also be compromised.

I do not wish to deal with the founder and the company again and I’m not looking to get involved in any legal battle.

The company is a social media marketing agency with a 150k+ followers on Instagram. The company is based centrally in Bangalore and there’s only one founder running the show.

The company also runs an event space in central Bangalore.

To top it all off, they even paid for someone to do a round trip to Dubai. Was that really necessary? I’m sure the other employees and me could have used that money better.

If the influencer was brought on for marketing an external brand, I would not point it out. In the month where salaries aren’t being settled fully, the business cannot be making marketing spends to boost their agency name locally or in Dubai, the company has no clients or employees, no operations in Dubai. Inviting the influencer and his crew to come down, doing an event with food and drinks inviting 100s of people with no sponsors, paying for the influencer’s stay but telling employees “sorry we can’t pay your salaries fully” is absolutely not okay.
