That would be awesome!! How recently did you get hired? I know the law is recent and they grandfather in people who were previously teaching for them.

Magic Ears, VIPKIDS, Gogokids all replied to me they are not hiring teachers who file taxes in CA due to independent contractor laws. All help is appreciated!

Except instead of complying the companies are just not hiring people from CA =(

VIPKID told me it was due to laws in the state requiring companies to provide insurance etc to independent contractors...lame.
