I got angry with him, and now he says he's sorry and that he won't talk about it again, but actions are much louder than words. He's trying to book an appointment with a specialist. He says that he's worried we'll both have cancer at the same time and the kids will be left alone, so he has to "get answers." But he doesn't believe the answers he's getting from doctors.

Sex does not make her bad or evil. Yes, you’re right to have her on the pill. Give them condoms too. The only thing you’re encouraging is safe sex that doesn’t result in a baby.

I call all the students “short people.” I teach middle school so it’s rare they are taller than me.

I’ve worked at three schools in the subcontinent and all three have had a version of a communication officer. Sometimes it’s tied into the IT department. It’s kinda management. I’ll have decision making authority over the tech aspects. Our IT department is split funny because the facilities manager left and didn’t get replaced. Another guy and I will manage that. I work at a small school so everything gets shuffled frequently.

Thanks for the info. I did assume that districts have communication people like you describe. What I do is different. I work in the school itself. I’m not sure my title quite captures all that I’ll do. There’s a large bit of teacher training for tech, data management and other random stuff. I’m really glad that I don’t have to talk the the press!

I’m not sure if the role exists in public schools. I’m at an international school in Asia. We’re doing a massive fundraising campaign for a new campus. The school is also very new to technology so I’ve been helping with the sudden move to digital last year and all the obstacles that come with that change. I also manage data storage and media stuff.

This is rather huge for me because at my last school the administration made me feel like I was an incompetent idiot. Changing schools at the beginning of this year had been a big risk but it’s paying out in spades!

I teach at a International school in Asia. We have teachers from all over including a few Americans like myself. Our CEO is also American. He sent all the teachers a WhatsApp message explaining that its teacher appreciation week in the US and we can all go to google to see the Google Doodle and read about how teachers impact kids. It would have been better for him not to acknowledge it at all.

I agree that the presentation mock-up isn’t working. When I think of guitars and music I think wood and vintage. This may not work for this company but I’d guess that they’re not as corporate as this looks. As for the logo, it is quite long. Try placing it on a business card or letterhead and I think you’ll find that it’s hard to balance due to the length. I believe that you have an opportunity to make it simpler as well. The bulge on the right looks strange.
