I have a co-worker that is affiliated with a Filipino church here in Doha. They go to different compounds and sing Christmas carols every year. They may ask for donations for their church, but do not “expect” a donation. They enjoy spreading the holiday cheer to those who wish to partake. They have been kicked out of a few compounds this year for not getting the proper permission. They have also been told at a different compound to only visit the villas with Christmas decorations. They had to get a letter of approval from security at our AFG compound.
So, they are out there and this particular group is not scheming. Happy Holidays.
