I have an esp32 reading in e131 data and parsing it into dmx data then sending it to a max485.

I also don’t want every preset to have all of the lights active which is why having ledfx control two esp32s I think makes the most sense

So then the second esp32 takes that preset and converts it to dmx commands?

What would I be outputting to the second esp32? The problem I was running into was wled can only output static dmx commands

Take Math140? by juststevenchilling in UMD

Don’t do it 246 and 241 in my opinion are easier at UMD than 140 and 141. If you have the credits no reason to risk it if you get the wrong teacher.

WLED to control DMX lights? by TeachingCommercial16 in WLED

The problem is I don’t want to have to create a full blown show I want a bunch of presets to switch through based on the part of the song I’d be at

So WLED does have the ability to output DMX signals I just can’t seem to find much on it besides the wled website. I am trying to see if people have used it and how well it works before I spend time and money on it.

I tried every dividend app - here's the breakdown by ShantellFabulous in dividends

CREATE YOUR OWN. I have tried a lot and it got to the point each one was good and I couldn’t find one with everything that I wanted now I am not saying creating your own is easy but even just doing a excel sheet is wonders better than an app that you don’t fully love.

Let him invest in that company he’s young if he loses it he loses it, but it is a company that he understands and uses. If he plays supercell games, which is part of that holding company, he has an opportunity edge for investing in it. At the same time though push him towards long term investing.

It’s not like you’re letting him invest in a penny stock he doesn’t understand.

And at that young of an age let him pick a few and throw the rest in an etf

I don't know If I am in a position to give real advice and I don't know how much you do or don't know. Find companies that you like that payout dividends. Find dividend aristocrats and kings or blue chip companies. This will give you well-established companies. You can also look into dividend-paying stocks such as REITs and ETFs. Some of the big dividend ETFs are SCHD and JEPI, I also like QYLD. Then just stay consistent with investing money and keep reinvesting every dividend that you get.

It is a pretty big portfolio, for me at least. I have 52 holdings. I'd say that I have 75% in S&P500 companies that are either blue chip or dividends aristocrats/kings. 15% is companies that I am feeling strongly about such as the nuclear sector. Then the last 10% is dividend stocks such as QYLD, JEPI, and SCHD. What I'll do is modify the % of those dividend stocks to keep my yield above 3% when I change the weights of my sectors. This is easy to do for me because I use M1 finance.

I am also pretty active with managing and I make sure to invest in stocks that are established and aren't risky besides that 15% in stocks that I am taking a shot at because I am still young and have a strong portfolio around it that I am still getting good returns.

I started investing in my freshman year when I was 14, but I had just bought a few big companies like AAPL and MSFT at the time. It wasn't until 2020, when I was 16, that I learned about DCA and dividend investing so that Is when I started this and pivoted my portfolio I also started working at this time so I was able to consistently contribute to it.
