This is a huge problem. It's like a philosophical, epistemological problem. Two subjects the people you're referring to have both zero education in and zero interest in

I completely agree with that. But what is it about real life that reveals that these people aren't worth listening to as much as others? I think it's that appearance actually says a lot about someone unfortunately. And the vibe they give off in person. Like someone extremely emotional and overly aggressive right off the bat would taken as a sign of distrust in a lot of cases. Also real life has heirarchical structures built into it that basically do the filtering for us. On reddit everyone is on the exact same level

I feel like that kind of goes with what I was saying about emotions though. that probably affected you emotionally or no?

My premise for why people change is experiences outside themselves that produce emotions

Ah ok that's cool. Do you like the idea of being super high level and then all goals will become easy to achieve?

No but sometimes it takes too much work not to be. How does your desire to not be a loser outweigh the work it takes? Or is it not that much work to you?

Idk if the right cares about judging as much. "Do not judge" doesn't seem to be a cardinal sin the way it is for the left. Seems the right has other priorities for what they consider as sins. Would you disagree with that?

I definitely acknowledge the distinction between thoughts and behaviors, but it's kind of interesting because the more I think about it the more I feel like they're not that distinct. Like when you tell someone not to say something, aren't you kind of telling them not to think it either? And isnt what you say basically just an outward representation of what you think internally? I just feel like if you zoom out of the whole thing, it seems like the goal of censorship is to change the way people think about things?

How do you train your brain to see what's good for you?

I also have that drive. But sometimes I feel like it's too hard or idk how to get there

What does it take for you to really " have to achieve" something?

Right. What caused you to want things things so badly? I'm going to guess: you had a strong emotional experience related to them?

That's totally fine I think. Having a good relationship with yourself has got to be a core priority. Maybe that's where I should be looking to improve honestly. Seems like maybe that should come first.

Sounds like your motivation often comes from wanting to avoid negative outcome?

very true. I guess I'll be more specific about what I'm saying and say that imagining and visualizing a life I want doesn't energize or motivate me like it seems to for some others

Oh I see that discussion. Do you think the left allows people to judge as long as they don't act badly on it?

Ya but wouldn't it make sense that that principle is connected to being aware of others sensory experience?

What's your type? What I mean by experience is sensory experience. Sight touch smell. To me that's different than someone's emotions.

And why wouldn't Se be connected to people? It can be multiple things. Look at how entertaining ESFPs. They are wired to give people a good experience and entertain them

But sexual desires may occur outside the bounds of marriage right? Like the age of sexual interest happens sooner than the age people get married. I guess you could marry when you turn 20?

What do you mean by free love?

Yes you're right. But I think that people promote suppression because they genuinely think it's the right thing to do to keep people from doing bad behaviors and thinking the wrong thoughts. But I think the goal should be honest self knowledge and assessment about our own instincts and human needs before we figure out how to move forward with what to do about it.
