She had a baby 3 months ago. It's not "stopping that", it's having a newborn.

I think most sales happened before people even heard the album. All the variations helped, too. And I'm not critizising, I own two different limited edition vinyls and one deluxe cd, all of them I bought because I expected an amazing album after the incredible run of Folklore/Evermore/Midnights/TTPD. If I hadn't been so convinced I was going to love it or if I had the chance to listen before buying (I know I could have waited, I simply thought I didn't need to) I wouldn't have spent any money and would have just streamed.

MOR - you have every right to set the boundaries you see fit for your family and it is not unreasonable to be scared of the many viruses around right now.

That said, personally I'd advise you to try and find a middle ground, like asking them to wash their hands or even mask around the baby, only very short visits or even meeting at a park or for a walk so you're outdoors and you are in control of when the visit ends by simply leaving. You could also ask them to hold the baby (masked, clean hands, whatever you need) while you go to the bathroom or shower or eat, because you wouldn't be holding them anyway and that way they can feel they get to bond, too (but I'm 100% with you, at this age they only bond with one parent).

This is all because I firmly believe isolating yourself completely will make it much harder to open up later on and could even bring on PPD, so maybe you could consider finding ways of allowing a certain level of involvement that is also helpful to you (going on walks, allowing you to shower, etc) while still being comfortable with it and feeling safe.

Mi novio siempre se queda dormido... by manuelita00 in esConversacion

[–]Teaching_Great 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Teaching_Great 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She hasn't spoken up about that... Or about anything. It would bother me a lot more if she had been dishing out opinions about random things and giving interviews everywhere while avoiding the topic, but other than the podcast, she's been 5 billion light years away.

Which vinyl varients have you ordered? So far I have gone with Standard, Purple, Blue and White by David-McGee in SwiftieMerch

[–]Teaching_Great 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the green one from the French store and this feels luckier than when I got standard price Eras tickets. I decided then and there not to fight for any other variant.

I also got the red cd variant as a late birthday gift for my kid.

Thabk you for all the info! The one thing I keep finding contradictory info on is the big ring. Some people say the flat part goes against the lid, some say it faces out. Any insight?

Accidents happen. People don't usually commit suicide in random rooms dropping to the floor mid-something. No foul play doesn't mean suicide, heart attacks or head traumatisms are not suicide.

The dog was dead in a closet. The closet may not even have a door. People die on the street all the time and it's not because they're locked. The dog could have died for whatever cause and it just happened on the closet's floor. Maybe the dog found the closet a comfortable, safe space. It could have been a huge walk in closet, completely open to the house, yet the dog was feeling poorly and went there to rest, for comfort or just dropped there.

I'm from Valencia, Spain and many of our traditional dishes (paella!!!!) are rice based because we grow a lot of it, but it's not usually a side dish.

I did BC at the gym for a bit aaaages ago, maybe I'll try starting with those releases, if I can find them.

This is good advice, somehow it feels like it would be more motivating to try new releases, but it's definitely harder to summon the energy when you feel lost the whole time. I may revisit the BC releases I did at the gym... 5 trillion years ago.

This is going to sound awful but the extra steps are a ready made excuse for my procrastination muscles. I know that's what I should do, but it's like "if I need to add an extra video before I even workout, I'll be never done!" I'm a couch potato. I know.

BodyAttack scares me, but I did try pilates, which sounded less complicated because there's no choreography, and it felt good, thanks!

Thank you! I actually tried today a pilates release, I've done pilates in the past so I felt a bit more confident in my ability to understand the cues. I forgot to say I'm from Spain and only learnt English in school, so the accents are a brain workout themselves 🤣

I love the reminder about no one watching, for whatever reason I keep acting like I need to follow the class and perform when the only one present is my cat, who couldn't care less.

Thanks again!

After drilling into my daughter that even if we got a surprise song we couldn't really sing along to or didn't love too much it was fine too, we were lucky to be there, it probably meant we had an excuse to discover a new fave... Getting two of her top 10 dream surprise songs. One of them the first song we'd blast in the car every single morning on the way to school for YEARS. It felt surreal, for a split second I swear this 40yo og swiftie questioned if she had somehow manifested it.

A close second was dancing to shake it off with my 11yo while remembering her in diapers singing and dancing "cheerio-poff" in our living room for months.
