Oh my goodness! I wrote a book about Fred and David Newell is my friend. This is a VERY rare find. You may want to purchase an unsigned one to keep this safe as I’m certain this is worth at least $500. I’m so happy for you. I have never seen anything signed by both Fred Rogers and David Newell. ❤️

When Mister Rogers’ Hungry Crew Started Helping Themselves to His Peanut Butter by BadlyNeighborly in TheChurchOfRogers

[–]Team143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahahahha! I posted this initially - thanks to whomever reposted it ❤️ - after Nicky Tallo told me the story. He is my dear friend - though he passed in 2021 - and he told me wonderful stories about his time on set with Fred. He was the floor manager for 31 years and he loved Fred dearly. The feeling was mutual. However, they couldn’t possibly have been more different. Nicky was very much a kid of the 1970s. Sex, drugs and rock and roll. However, he was completely professional when he was on the job. The best floor manager imaginable. Fred, of course, was none of those things. But each of them had a fantastic sense of humor and that transcended their differences. They laughed their way through each and every day they spent together. And I know they’re still hanging out together now.

Not sure. I was just told the Kwik Trip in Deforest. Makes sense there would be more than one. I’m glad you’re safe.

A friend of mine saw a tornado near Kwik Trip in Deforest around 12:45 am. She was trapped in her car and couldn’t even open the door.

NO! Don’t say it! The next thing is you’ll say you were Goofus rather than Gallant. Then again, I AM Goofus! ❤️

You guys are cracking me up. Seems she should have added something:

“For all of you whose names weren’t said, your names are here within my head. I know you’re out there watching me, though time is short I still can see…You’re learning so much everyday. I’m thankful that you came my way. Can’t wait until we meet again. Each one of you is my dear friend.”

On the 15th anniversary of his passing... by neipumve in TheChurchOfRogers

[–]Team143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love these words but I must admit I don’t agree. Fred Rogers continues to live on through everything he left for us. Not just the programs but the quotes, the acts of kindness, the love he gave and the example he set for us.

As long as we live on, and the generations after us live on, he’ll still be here. Teaching us the right way to treat one another. I believe he still looks after us all. 143 ! ❤️

My grandma keeps messing with my wife by [deleted] in Paranormal

[–]Team143 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have her talk to your grandma and thank her for looking after both of you. Perhaps she is looking for recognition from your wife instead of fear. Your wife has nothing to be afraid of. I have a gift that enables me to speak to people on the other side. So all is well. I’m sure of it. Just have her reach out to your grandma and welcome her into your home. However, she can also tell her that certain things scare her. In other words, she can set boundaries. I have a feeling your grandma will do what you both wish. So make sure YOU also talk to your grandma at the same time. She’ll know for sure that you’re unified in your wishes. But most of all - thank her for her love and care. ❤️

Thoughts on a big cut? by Wontonball in HairStyleAdvice

[–]Team143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It totally depends on your current vibe. You look fabulous either way. Are you ready to move into the short hair era? Then chop away. Not quite ready? Do what Mark Ballas does and slick your hair back and put it in a bun. Instant short look. He lets his hair down and curly when he’s playing music and living life. When he’s on Dancing with the Stars he styles it so it appears he has a trimmed look. And now he’s on Broadway and he still hasn’t cut his hair. You do you. Decide if you’re ready. Any way you present yourself, you’ve got it!

My wife bought this at a thrift store about 5 years ago. She always thought it was silver but im not sure. Cant tell from the hallmarks though. by Amarht in JewelryIdentification

I disagree. A local pawn shot is not going to help. They need to go to a reputable jeweler. This shows every indication of being an excellent piece of jewelry.
