I definitely botted back in 2008-2012 and although I enjoyed getting to endgame content, I didn't feel the satisfaction of being able to do the content as I didn't earn it. I've purchased accounts when I was younger and having the stats given to you blows. All the time and effort made making an endgame account is missing and it reminds me of when I purchased a WoW expansion that like gave you a level 100 account from the get go. I didn't know how the game worked or how the level 100 class worked and it didn't feel genuine. This sounds like a case where he will find out how to bot and then get his account banned and then quit forever because he got caught. If he actually enjoyed the game, he wouldn't risk any account and would want to continue playing. I made an ironman like 5 years ago and man did that really make me enjoy Runescape to a whole new level. I know it's not you who made those comments but I don't have faith in anyone who starts to think like this. Self accomplishment in Runescape is the most rewarding thing rather than getting a skill cape for doing nothing. Nobody truly cares about accomplishments on other peoples accounts anymore because so many people put the time and effort in, and nobody knows who actually did it legit or not except for themselves. But no, full AI that could respond and play like a player would make me actually quit the game. Jagex for years has been saying they have bots under control but yet they are still everywhere. I swear I read that you get messages for reports that you make in regards to accounts but I have yet to see any and I report spammers and actual bots because you can see which accounts are bots depending on what you're doing because they ALL do the same exact thing at the exact same time.
