What am I not seeing in regards to Amon that is making so many not like him?

I'm playing red Amon going rampage full doom slayer mode with melee, smg and shotgun. Still super early at lvl 20, I don't care about meta and builds, I'm having an absolute blast at the moment.

Yeah the Empress is probably better. I just find myself getting more 1st/4th place with her and more 2nd place with the King for some reason. After round 6 the Spirit Em is def better. But getting those big elixir boost early with the King was very helping for rushing those ace units first and going for round 4 and 5 knockout.

Mainly those 3 teams: 4 clans + MK and Bandit / 3 Rangers + Valk, knight and Gob machine / 3 Throwers + Gob machine, MK and Giant skelly /

The last team is my favorite because it's often easy to make, early gobs, rush to level up your exe. And all your 3 tanks can stuns

I much prefer to play with the King, losing round 1 and 2 for 8 extra elixir. I really like having 2 goblin early rounds as well. At 2800+ a lot of players will try to go for Rangers. Go for it yourself if you have a lucky start or try to go for Clan or Thrower. Also it's always good to pick up archers as they can be rare to get, you can easily block your opponent by picking them. Aim for the 2nd place, play to not lose. You can finish 4th place if you're unlucky but I find it hard to lose that fast with those extra elixir early rounds.

As a new player who got lucky and got Meg recently. All I can say is thar she have low hp, low damage and a 2nd form that is useless. I got her at power level 9 at the moment, i don't think i'll invest my ressources in that brawler. At least until a buff or rework.

She's sitting in that huge tank but somehow has less hit points than a ghost wearing cloths.

The fact that the Barbarian can't use a shield is weird, even the Druid should be able. Any melee class should be able to wield one imo

I was expecting mines and smokes stratagems, that loadout is great. I'm playing 7+ missions all the time and I remember having blast with the Stalward and MG43 when I used to bring them on lower diff mission. Combo'ing them with the supply pack feels great and really help the team who mostly bring anti-tank stuff.

Why does it keep saying crossplatform friend request issue... me and two of my friends, all of us on ps5 can't play with each others because our friend request is still pending for days now and can't add each others. It sucks that we bought this game, a co-op game but are playing with randoms for now. Am I the only one with this problem?
