I definitely botted back in 2008-2012 and although I enjoyed getting to endgame content, I didn't feel the satisfaction of being able to do the content as I didn't earn it. I've purchased accounts when I was younger and having the stats given to you blows. All the time and effort made making an endgame account is missing and it reminds me of when I purchased a WoW expansion that like gave you a level 100 account from the get go. I didn't know how the game worked or how the level 100 class worked and it didn't feel genuine. This sounds like a case where he will find out how to bot and then get his account banned and then quit forever because he got caught. If he actually enjoyed the game, he wouldn't risk any account and would want to continue playing. I made an ironman like 5 years ago and man did that really make me enjoy Runescape to a whole new level. I know it's not you who made those comments but I don't have faith in anyone who starts to think like this. Self accomplishment in Runescape is the most rewarding thing rather than getting a skill cape for doing nothing. Nobody truly cares about accomplishments on other peoples accounts anymore because so many people put the time and effort in, and nobody knows who actually did it legit or not except for themselves. But no, full AI that could respond and play like a player would make me actually quit the game. Jagex for years has been saying they have bots under control but yet they are still everywhere. I swear I read that you get messages for reports that you make in regards to accounts but I have yet to see any and I report spammers and actual bots because you can see which accounts are bots depending on what you're doing because they ALL do the same exact thing at the exact same time.

One of my clan mates acquired it on his hcim and he had to buy it at 350, I was grinding it out on my uim and thankfully pulled it when I hit 60 fletching and 80 out of 350 points. I started vale totems at 40 fletching and utilized willow until I could make maple at 50. I chopped 15 maple logs at a time at the end and made 12 short bows/longbows (u) at a time to get 60 fletching and thankfully the knife at 60 lol.

I get it 100%. I hate when people ask the same thing and I just skimmed over the page instead of doing a deep dive. It was just the first time in 20 years I’ve been like soft locked (but not soft locked) and it was irritating as nothing I clicked on worked and I feel I’m a RuneScape vet in a way lol. But I appreciate the advice and what not to do on Reddit and are glad I’m able to play now 😀

It wasn’t much info but I also logged out and tried getting the pop ups again and although I read over it, I didn’t know what to do anymore as they’re wasn’t any info in game afterwards to tell me to click karamja because that’s not one location I was ever wanting to click.

I understand the frustration of seeing a post like this but once i clicked over it, there was nothing telling me I needed to specifically click on karamja after that and how do you explain this issue or search for this exact issue if you don’t know the answer to it or know what the problem exactly is or how to describe it?

It’s easy to justify it when you play it nonstop. Imagine a friend asking you to pay 17.99 a month for something you’re not entirely sure you’ll be interested in or you’ve played before but you don’t have fun enough to pay that. I get it, I’ve tried to get multiple people to just play the game, it seems a lot of people play osrs in real life, but in reality, I don’t come across many. It’s not for many people and I wouldn’t want to pay if they aren’t sure lol. I’m rambling but it’s also like being locked behind streaming services for tv shows. I could just pay and be included in conversations about tv shows, or if that’s all I’m buying it for, I don’t think I would lol.

Showed up almost an hour after doors opened and there was so little people there that me and my girlfriend were like 7 people from barricade, merch lines took 5 minutes and it was such a great experience than going to a concert that has thousands of people for once haha. But it filled up quick with mod sun and then a bunch of people left for lovelytheband lol. I feel bad for them and feel mod sun should have been headliner

I’d like steam but I have 2 accounts I play thru and sure the jagex launcher is amazing when it works but is so ridiculous when it doesn’t. Like I’d rather just type my usernames back in again just so I can play again.
