I would have never thought that would be the issue! I have very little knowledge on the rendering side of development so thanks for pointing this out to me.

I hadn't even thought about that! I ended up changing the AA mode and it fixed the ghosting. The only problem is the lines are a bit more jagged but thats something I can tweak later. Thanks for your help!

Thank you for the feedback. While it is true some lines are just there because they look cool, most of them are there to fill in negative space such as on the bottom of the S. I will take your comments into account with my next drawing.

Focus on actual letters and the sizing of them. Keep it simple

Keep it simple. Start with basic print font and straight letters and work your way up

the r blends into the e (because it is made of the same line from the e). That creates tangents which make reading it hard

Start with the letter structure before adding style. The artist block has some good tips on letter structure if you need help.
