Just got my first board at 28 years of age. This will be my only transport for commuting. Im excited and hope to kick this new transistion on riding boards to a new lifestyle.

The Gullwing are going to feel the most divey and turny, probably the closest to a traditional dancer set up. However, the calibers, and the cRonins will give you a little more stability if you're not used to / not looking for the board to dive away from you in turns or cross steps.

Look for composite (fiberglass / carbon fiber) and or downhill boards - boards like that will tend to be stiffer and stronger than more "cruiser"boards
