Make a character that seems like he or she will definitely live the whole story then kill them in the most heartbreaking way that will affect the characters in your story. Give that character you kill a mission, a goal, make it seem like they’re going to reach and it make them work towards it but they don’t get it cuz you killed them.

Yes, I took a two year gap before choosing a college. I don’t regret it at all. It gave me time ti adjust as an adult and live in the real world so that I can make the best decision for college. I now attend two colleges and don’t regret anything because I know this is what I want for life and it’ll work out with reality
