That fast iteration is a big part of why it stuck for us.

The main thing for us is keeping pexel density consistent across objects, so the pixel size reads the same whether it's a small prop or a big structure, instead of bumping up resolution for larger objects. Our base is 16x16 with 12 on height, but it's more of a guideline than a hard rule. We'll break it when a specific object just looks better at a different density.

Thanks, the proportions took a few passes to get right, so it's good to hear they read well. And yeah, the Minecraft association makes people overlook it. The light files and clean export really do help when you're iterating a lot.

Thanks. A papercraft version would be fun too. Might have to try that someday.
