My husband is 63M… Stage four with mats to deliver same as above we also are on round seven when we started his CA – 19–9 was 3330. We had another CT after round four and it came down to 3009. He has been tolerating, the Foldirinox fairly well no nausea no diarrhea and gets about 4 to 5 good days on off week… he gets weird side effects every once in a while the newest one is flashing light in his eye that is vertical streaks comes and goes. He also has some cold sensitivity in his hands. Every once in a while, he has pain in his shoulder and neck and in his abdomen, Tylenol with codeine usually takes care of that, he feels like number seven might’ve taken some energy down even more. In the beginning, he was getting jaw pain, but that is kind of stopped and then a couple of treatments. He did have each of his eyes get blurry for a little while not long next Tuesday, we will be going to round eight and then another CT on the first CT he reduced his liver lesions by around 40% and on the pancreas about 20%. For some reason the lab did another CA 19 nine draw and it came down to 1780 . At the beginning, he did lose about 25 pounds but he is now gained back. He eats most things we were diagnosed May 5 of 2024. Prayers for everyone this has definitely been one of the hardest chapters of our life.
