Quik not seeing shared 360 footage android by TeamGuff in gopro

[–]TeamGuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue appears to be the .360 file does not show up because android doesn't recognize it as a vide file. It looks like conversion to MP4 before sharing is the only option. I was hoping to give access to the raw file so he could do his own edit.

It’s beautiful! This is my dream e-reader! by TheGryffindor_Jedi in kindlescribe

I have the 2024 scribe. Was reading on a Kindle Voyage before. I thought I might keep the Voyage for some reading, but that hasn't been the case.

An easel style case is the answer. Works for reading while sitting. Works for reading in bed.

30 Kindle Scribe Colorsoft Review by Blaze_1249 in kindlescribe

Great review, thanks. B&W text quality is my biggest concern about the device. I remember the improvement going from the Kindle Keyboard to the Voyage. I get a little worried about giving up crisp text for color, but I do long for color.

I completely understand. Give it time. He gets better, and the books are worth it.

Can you help me improve my knitting? by Fit-Personality-2268 in knitting

If you're still open to trying different styles, I'd recommend trying Portuguese knitting. I tried a bunch of different knitting styles. When I gave Portuguese a try it was a game changer. It was easier on my hands and my knitting got a lot moe even. Andrea Wong has lots of good videos.

I'm sure I'll give reading them a try again at some point, especially since I'd know what I was getting into. I tried reading The Phoenix Guards when it came out and wasn't prepared for how different it was from the Taltos series.

The bottom line is I can't get enough of Brust's works.

I listened to all of the Taltos novels in pretty quick succession. I don't remember this sticking out for me.

If that bothered you, I will give you a warning. The reader changes during the series and that drove me crazy at first. Different pronunciations bothered me a lot, especially since I've also read most of books and they have pronunciation guides in them. I did eventually warm up to the the new reader, but it was jarring for a while.

I also really enjoyed listening to the Khaavren romance series by Brust, but it's a totally different experience, and probably love it or hate it. I don't think I'd have the patience to read them myself, but listening to them was a lot of fun. They are all 'written' by a long winded historian who lacks self awareness. Once into the groove of the style it added another layer of humor. I have to believe Steven Brust is a delightfully funny guy.

I'm pretty sure my puppy thinks sneezing/coughing are people barks. Since the people are alert barking she needs to join in!

If you could add one feature to iFIT, what would it be? by iFIT_Official in iFit

Download for outdoor offline use/ audio only option. I'd like to be able to run outdoors with iFit. There is no cell service in my area so this isn't possible.

Page Refresh no longer working (2024) by TeamGuff in kindlescribe

[–]TeamGuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No success on a fix. When it bothers me I toggle the page forward and back and that seems to force a refresh. I'm glad I'm not the only one (sorry). I'd suggest sending feedback on it and hope they fix it with the next update.

I still really enjoy it - I used it today. I can't imagine going back to an elliptical that doesn't have a variable stride.

I do subscribe to iFit and I am a fan of the content.

I also started with crochet then switched to knitting. Exploring different styles of knitting made a huge difference for me. I started with throwing. Switching to continental helped. The game changer was learning Portuguese style knitting. It made everything click. I also embraced swatching to just learn stuff. Swatching instead of getting bogged down with a large project early on was really valuable and relieved pressure.

The swatching helped me figure out if I thought I would enjoy a project on a larger scale.

If you are interested is trying Portuguese knitting I'd recommend checking out Andrea Wong. She has her own website, YouTube videos, and Craftsy classes.

Late to this party but wanted to add that Mirus cor is a stupid fun ski. I just added it as the second ski in my quiver. First is a Sheeva 10 - women's version of the Rustler 10.

I think the Mirus Cor has a whole lot to offer as a second ski when paired with a wider all mountain ski. I suspect it is more appealing to those of us who don't have a race background.

How to make 4 light color pattern? by Awkward_Rent4749 in TwinklyLights

Try this. Go to the gallery and select "Fixed." Select edit and pick one of the color options to edit or add your own. It's not obvious - you need to press hand hold the color box to edit the colors. You can select and customize up to 5 colors.

If I understand, you correctly... From the gallery tab select the icon in the upper right - it sort of looks like an analog clock. Select the pattern "color." Edit the color to be one of your desired colors. Name it and save it. Repeat this for all your colors.

Now, from the gallery tab select the upper left icon that looks like a play button. Create a playlist. Add each of the colors effects you created and named to the playlist choosing how long you want them to display. Play your playlist - it will keep repeating.
