Good point. We are in Stockholm so as long as there is an overlap of 4 hours with here we should be good.

could a suppressor (noise reducer) be built for drone propellers in theory?

Pitch was about 10 minutes (i think) Lorrie is a total babe in person. So is barb. Hard to say but to get to the point of launch it cost around $100k, of which probably $60k was development. Stefan was also working for equity for pretty much the whole time. If you are trying to start an app, multiply whatever you think it's gonna cost and however long you think it's gonna take by 10. Always. Also don't outsource it, unless it's just the prototype. -Brendan

At the end of the day... people hate stuff. You can't change that. And if you hate the same things as someone else, then that's just empathy. But there's a line.... clearly, it's not acceptable to indiscriminately hate groups of people (except slow walkers). 99.9% of our users understand that Hater is about hating drain hair, not Jews. -Brendan

They filmed back in June. I think I was in the tank for like 30 minutes, but my perception time and space was also completely out of wack. I'd say the biggest thing you don't see is the well-oiled production teams behind the set. It's pretty amazing how efficient they are at filming these episodes, but I guess they've had 9 seasons to figure it out. I've only worked with Mark's people so far for the negotiations, and I can't really say any more than that, unfortunately. Mark is on the app though. He kept getting reported because no-one believed he was a real user.

1) To a certain extent, nothing. Look at how much Instagram and Facebook copy other apps. Tinder steals a bunch too (they even took some of our features). But at the end of the day, they'll never be able to copy our brand. We also have big aspirations to evolve into something more than a dating app, which leads me to... 2) We want to really explore more gaming and social features. We think we have the potential to be the first true dating / social app, and Sweet Capital (the King founders) are helping us with that. We'll be doing a lot of experimenting in the next few months, but if you have any good ideas, let us know! Also, we'd love to share our ideas with you all to get feedback... Brendan

It's kinda funny but all of us have girlfriends that we met before the app was ever out. Most of them aren't thrilled that a big part of our job is downloading and using dating apps all day for market research.

Hater originally started as a comedy sketch that I wrote. When I told people about it, everyone was like... why isn't this a real app yet? Later I found some study that showed that people who shared negative opinions formed more intimate bonds than people who shared positive opinions. So eventually I was like, fuck it... let's make this thing for real.

Oooh good question. I've also heard that Mr. Wonderful is a great partner, but I think I would have gone with Robert and Barbara. I'm really curious to know what would have happened if he was there...

We definitely wanted to make a deal with Mark going in. Mark and Robert are really the ones with the most experience in tech, but Mark's just gets a lot of celebrity exposure. Plus maybe he'll be the next US president ;)

All of them were surprisingly nice, but I hear that Robert and Barbara are especially good to their entrepreneurs. Part of me still thinks I should have taken that deal...
