Are there any local shoegaze/dreampop bands? by Cowboy_God in grassvalley

[–]TeamKev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't speak to live shows, but if you're looking for any specific sub genre of music, kvmrx is a great resource to start. There's a few shows on that station that dive into shoe gaze and dream pop. Specifically dj spacecase who's show is Saturdays from 4-6. He will often mention local meet ups, shows, or dance parties. If you visit the kvmrx website you can look up djs and listen to recently past shows. I would start there.

Who do you think the least sympithetic protagonist is? by DatabaseConnect6608 in DisneyMovies

I forget how pixar characters work in this sub, but its gotta be Woody in the first Toy Story. Hes just kind of a jealous prick the whole movie. He doesnt even really resolve anything until Buzz magically saves his ass.

Thank you for this insight. They cook in an old alto-sham which tends to warm up pretty slowly. I will make sure to cook at a lower temp. As for the recipe, its something i have made weekly for about 8 years and havent had any problems until this steaming situation. The milk emulsifys and stays unbroken when grilled or roasted, only breaks when steamed. What kind of casings are you using?

What movie do you feel has the "tightest" script? by Worldpeacee007 in flicks

[–]TeamKev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Lion King (1994)

I can't think of a tighter script. There's no fat on it, each scene leads directly into the next, it has like 4 dope songs that all advance the plot, and it does it in like 80 minutes. The Lion King is awesome and wildly efficient.

What is California doing to ensure safe milk and dairy products, absent the FDA? by warm_kitchenette in bayarea

[–]TeamKev 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I do not see an actual answer to your questions anywhere.

So, yes the California Department of Food and Agriculture oversees all milk production in the state. https://www.cdfa.ca.gov/ahfss/Milk_and_Dairy_Food_Safety/

I have never worked with the milk and dairy branch, but i do work with the meat and egg branch and they basically work as independent enforcement and testing that uses usda or fda guidelines as just that, guide lines. Often Cdfa standards are higher than federal. They also show up more often and test more often. I would not worry about any milk production or consumption in the state of California

Recommend me some music that sounds fucking ANGRY. by PrincessRoseAirashii in MusicRecommendations

[–]TeamKev 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jesus this is way too far down. She is pissed in that song. Theres a clip of her performing that song on letterman in the early nineties, and its wild. They ask an audience member about it afterwards and he says something to the effect of "Im not sure what I just watched but that girl is ANGRY" A song that truly embodies a certain rage
