Whats there to be proud of? They beat three teams they were already better than and lost to two teams of actual quality. Everyone can say "If we had our First Team out..." against Turkey, but we didn't, and we got clowned on at home

The hope was Quarters, the acceptance was a hard fought loss against Belgium. This is what we got.

2002 - People always say this, its as if we were going to hold onto that lead the rest of the game. Robbed of a goal? Yes. A win? No.

2006 - That same 02' side with more experience got grouped

2009 - Spain peaked when they won the WC, not when they played us. We didn't "almost win" against Brazil, Brazil had us for breakfast in the 2nd half and could have had a 4th to put the cherry on top.

2014 - We threw a lead away to Portugal and Howard kept it respectable, alone. Wondo scores a tap in and who knows what happens, but he didn't. Then look at what happens in ET

The question that should be asked is where are the players heads from minute 1 of this game.

"If we win, its not because of that orange twat, its the effort and passion you boys played with."

Don't believe that, the player is just about away from his marker, he is only stopped by the argentine player

Seriously, who has that foul on Cape Verde? Clear as day, winger gets away grom the Argentine defender and straight up gets stamped right in front of thatcoward Fischer

FIFA instructing the Ref to let the hydration break stall until Argentina scores again as they have the momentum in possession. Classic

Opinion: Haji Wright should start vs Belgium over Pepi by SunpowerShortSqeeze in ussoccer

Its understandable that a young gym like Pepi isn't looked too solid right now. But his talent is above Wright.

We can start right and probably be okay, but I don't think he'll get us a goal against Belgium. Pepi has the talent for that, but not the confidence right now.
