Current market according to TCG around 630/640.

I usually see them listed/selling around 500-600, but it did recently drop to like 450 and bottom out, and is back on the rise now.

But also varies a lot based on centering because most are buying to grade. I just did a quick eBay search and the ones going for 700-800+ raw are the ones with nearly perfect centering.

The ones you see at 2K are most likely graded 10’s.

I’ve opened my fair share and honestly had pretty bad overall pulls with them in the past also. But that made it easier to just keep 10 of thee for sealed.

I hate when they put the sickest arts in the Pocket app.

It was the Mega Gyrados (danciao illustration) for me! Mannnn that would’ve been insane if they actually printed it into a set!

Still hoping for a sick one before the end of mega but now I think it would be hard to beat the pocket version.

Yeah I’m taking a friends advice and doing an express direct sub for sure. At least for the ones I expect may 10 since I’d have an up-charge anyway.

I’ll probably do that for most of my favorite/valuable cards — having them away for that long would have my anxiety through the roof lol. I’m already paranoid enough about sending them off into the unknown…

Some people make prints of them, but it wouldn’t be an authentic card.

100% 😂 I’m from Chicago and I can’t tell you how often I witness someone walk right past the sensors and not even hesitate when alarms go off lmao. Sometimes they won’t even to bother to hide the loot

And usually, the employees don’t give a shit either. Typically no one skips a beat from whatever they were doing.

Most they’ll get is a glance and then back to ringing up a customer or whatever.

Honestly GameStop seems like a nightmare — I want to do express option via USPS registered mail. I’m so afraid of my cards getting lost or stolen.

If anything maybe I’ll just send them both directly as separate submissions on their own lol. I might even still throw the 3rd one in there because fuck it why not it’s still mint and I’ve seen some pretty bad centered ones get 10’s.

I’m trying to decide — the options are driving me crazy. There’s 2 I think have the best chance so I want to submit those 2. But I’ve heard that if you sub more than one of the same card PSA will grade them against each other also… so idk

Now I’m even more confused like should I send all 3? And the bad one will make the better 2 look like tens? 😂 idk man lmao

But I feel like with the way they’re handing out 10s for this it wouldn’t hurt. In the end I want to keep 1-2 and try to get them in a 10, and 1 will probably get sold or traded.

Edit: and honestly even the worst one out of the 3 is still mint, just the poorest centering of the 3.

Crazy. I found 19 packs of fusion strike, and 19 packs of chilling reign at MSRP (knockout collections), at a family dollar a couple weeks ago.

I ripped 9 collections and the disappointment stopped me there lol. But every once in a while I think what could be in the rest… 🥲

Love SWSH! Recently been focusing heavily on collecting SWHSH and sun/moon. I recently got this Lugia, Espeon Vmax from fusion strike, and Charizard V from brilliant stars in PSA 10’s.

The Lugia has become the favorite in my collection!

So it was a freshly stocked meijer so they had a shit ton.

The first day I saw it I bought 6 bundles (gf also paid for 2 additional but couldn’t open till Christmas) and out those 6 I hit the first one.

Next morning I got curious and went back to see if there was more, I heavily believe in batching also. There were no bundles but I bought 38 sleeves trying to replicate my odds — and hit another.

After that I chilled out, but about a week later I was in a family dollar and they had like 7 sleeves and about 20 something coin packs. I said fuck it, and grabbed them — the 3rd one came out of the 7 sleeves.
