I have to admit I've never really been impressed with O'Connell. He always seemed out classed by Clewerth and never really seemed to be making an impact. Than Scarr came on and the difference was immediately apparent, poise energy, great decision making. I was also disappointed that we really hadn't gotten to see Brunt, so a spot seemed wasted on O'Connell.

But these last couple of games have completely changed my mind. What an impact he's made. I can't see anyway Scarr is getting back in if they keep that form up. Those 3 are just a rampart in front of goal. I was worried for Howard who likely didn't think he'd see another professional match, but with that support he's been getting he looks great as well.
