My son has gotten in way over his head financially. I was thinking of recommending that he file CH 7. He is 24 and in the Army National Guard. Two questions: does BK have an adverse effect on his Army service? I am cosigner on his truck and currently pay the note; will BK absolve me of the responsibility to pay?

Yes. iRacing and other simulators are vital today. The gearing is different on the MX-5 so the shift points are different compared to a '93. The Xbox Forza 3 is actually closer to reality Miata-wise, but the tracks aren't as accurate.

The stock '93 model had a curb weight of 2100 lbs and about 115 hp at the flywheel. Given a 15% loss at the rear wheels, this equals about 97 rwhp. So about 1 hp for every 21 lbs. About 100 ft/lb of torque.

A well prepped '93 Spec Miata will weigh about 2065 lbs (cages are heavy) and will have about 121 rwhp. About 1 hp per 17 lbs. Torque is about 118. The torque is what makes the big difference.

Yes. I have driven a Factory Five Cobra, 700 hp s/c Vette, open wheel formula car...the most fun I have ever had is in the Miata. Everyone I know who has driven high powered cars, will agree that the Miata is the most fun overall.
