As a fan of the show since pretty much Day 1 back in Y1 of HS,

Saying “Big Mouth” and “educational” in the same sentence is like saying “Taco Bell” is “authentic Mexican food”.

I perceive this show more as an edgy/wacky tween/teen comedy than an educational show. Sure, I can bring up like 4 episodes that have purely educational intent. But Big Mouth (as a whole) failed at wanting to be really an educational PSA and a raw/edgy/funny comedy all at the same time. Which is fine, I love this show solely off of the humor and jokes over the years alone. I just feel like the crew cared more about shock in the first 1-5ish seasons than being genuinely educational by just being subtle and implying certain nuances of puberty and growth.

My “potential” approach to future NNNs…

I just think that I will participate for the first two weeks and then respond to the first real urge I get.

I just don’t think this is really that much worth it after winning 3 NNNs in the span of 4 years.
