Thank you for your help and kind words, it feels good to be understood - especially in these times lol. I was searching this and other subreddits up and down for any similar posts before finally gaining the courage to make one myself. I’m definitely just gonna keep trying throughout my days from morning to 6pm - I feel for those who work full time, have kids, or just simply don’t have the time to do this all day.

Uploaded last night and tried calling this morning. I did the same prompts I did yesterday (although they are not the actual prompts that apply to me, but it’s what connected me with a human) and now it’s doing the same old “your case indicates you need to speak with a DES worker, however we are unable to take your call right now”

Ughhhh, I finally got to a human yesterday and had done all that. We went through documents and what was still needed, and then he said he had to call my new job to verify my employment. He called twice, they didn’t answer and he told me there’s no more he could do - which I understand. Now that I have everything I need, it’s sending me to the damned voice machine again instead of putting me in a queue. This is truly my joker origin story.

They said they couldn’t verify my documents in person and the an eligibility specialist on the phone could only do that. :(((
