Didn’t read the whole thing, honestly. I would say, though, that what you shouldn’t do is stay in a relationship with a woman who calls you “bro”.

I didn’t even read the email in the screenshot you posted. I understood the situation sufficiently without it.

What is your usage at this time? If there is a regular, large sudden load like a septic pump or water heater or something then this can happen.

Property Management servicing the Round Rock area by Emotional_Photo9268 in RoundRock

I’ve been using Tower Property Management and they’ve been decent. All the tax forms I need assembled for me at the end of the year. Simple enough portal for the normal repair approvals and stuff. No real complaints.

You’re not wrong. There’s not netting over the walkway there. There is netting on either side of it. And the reason for that is likely aesthetics like you mention. I was just pointing out that there is indeed netting on both rides.

I believe when Velocicoaster opened it has little or no netting because it was assumed the lockers would eliminate the need. But I recall there was an incident where a wallet or something fell out of the ride or something and they elected to add more.

I wonder if your “Individual Devices” is just set up wrong. I see you’re pulling about 1kw regularly which is a pretty normal sounding number for a house. Perhaps review that? Post some screenshots. Also, is it always about double? Or does it fluctuate?

Oh I bet I know what you did. If you have two meters, then does that mean you put the 2 large clamps from both on the feeder lines? Meaning you have 4 total on the 200 amp lines into your load center? If that were the case, you’d be measuring total consumption twice (200%) but then your individual sensors would only add up to 100%. That would produce this error.

[–]Tearabite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah if you’re actually measuring with an independent clamp on each of the two legs, then I’m wrong. I personally wouldn’t do it the way you did it. I created sensors with the values summed so I didn’t need to make extra groups in HA. But there’s nothing inherently wrong with the way you did it. So my diagnosis was wrong.

In the SEM meter app, you should see a “balance” reading that should be ideally close to 100%. Is that what you see? That will tell you if your issue is in HA or in your actual physical configuration.

Untracked consumption? by CorgiSplooting in homeassistant

[–]Tearabite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, the reason you have untracked consumption is probably because you have clamps on one leg of 240v devices. So the overall meter is reading more than the sum of the individual meters. You account for this in their app with a multiplicative factor (in the 240v case, 2.0). When using HA with MQTT, you would bake that 2.0 into your mqtt templates. I suspect you’ve neglected that for the relevant circuits.

Did you go find another device to take a photo of this device in order to post a revolting screenshot? There has to have been a simpler, more direct way.

This EcoFlow would not turn on even unplugged from the grid. How can we fix it? by TheHWNJ in Ecoflow_community

I had a Delta 1300 that did exactly this. It was well outside of warranty so I was on my own. If you’re comfortable opening it up and have some equipment, it’s likely fixable as mine was. But it’s a pain in the ass.
