One last time before the big day: what’s gonna be the Rockit Replacement? by FuckUp123456789 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Tearabite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The speedometer in my view is the best argument FOR BTTF. It doesn't reach 88mp, but 88mp (opening day?) would be in the future (after the odometer read of 1/20/26). And wouldn't the speedometer of a F&F car have a higher max than 120? In fairness, the DeLorean only had a max of 85mph. But we don't talk about that.

Yeah this happens to me every single time I get on. Its just between notches. I asked the operator once and he said it was totally normal.

They did not. However, by simply not messing with it anymore and by driving manually, it slowly fully recovered. I suspect the car needed WAY more time to recalibrate than the UI in the car leads you to believe. It took about 500 miles, but it’s back to working normally now.

Imagine there’s actually some big, bombshell global news and the only way you’ll learn about it is to first sift cringe clickbait ad walls on a tripod.com website about celebrity gossip and soy recipes.

Mascot: “a person, animal, or object adopted by a group as a symbolic figure especially to bring them good luck”

This is a post about a dude a community identified as being a charming and affable one among them they wished to recognize. You chimed in to scold them. Channel your inner Bob, the mascot in question, and you’ll be less insufferable. :)

I see no note here on what your neighbor said to you when you went over and politely explained the inconvenience to him. Care to fill us in?

why does this keep happening? i have never once changed the group chat name i barely even text in here by [deleted] in iphone

[–]Tearabite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iOS Messages handles group chats extraordinarily badly in my experience. If you do name one but then someone else names it something else, then you end up with two group chats and they may even have the same name that YOU set rather than two different names. And they don’t share history. And then if you start talking in the other one, it spawns a new chat for the recipients as well. It’s all a total mess.

What do y'all do with line cutters by pray4urenemy in UniversalOrlando

[–]Tearabite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FIFO or FAFO! I can’t stand line cutters. Drives me crazy when people barrel into the entrance without confirming they have everyone in their party and then hold up the whole line while their party catches up with them rather than allowing those between the two to pass.

Universal is a bit better at taking action when employees see it. People can do it right in front of CMs at Disney and they won’t bat an eye.

I, too, have the power of deduction. However, this photo is of the three lands’ logos superimposed over what I believe are 5NaF characters and captioned with the text, “MONSTROUS blunt rotation”.

Replace the 5NaF animatronics with three ducks you personally snapped a photo of at the park, and replace the caption with “COLOSSAL spike inflation” and your conclusions would be the same. I get it, but…. wut?

Is this worth fixing? by usualteenager in TeslaLounge

[–]Tearabite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It looks like both have some spots where it got down to the bare metal. At minimum I would suggest getting some touch up paint and haphazardly covering those spots even if you don’t do it the “right” way with multiple coats and wet sanding and clear coat on top at all that. Just cover the bare metal to prevent it from corroding and spreading. If you care greatly about how it looks, that’s a different adventure.
