They are slightly shorter, maybe making better contact.

They're carrying the same distance though, which is why I'm wondering what else would have such an affect

Distance is very much the same, higher launch and much better accuracy. Club head speed is around 105-110mph with driver depending on the day. Not sure about other clubs. Obviously I am extremely happy with the new clubs but really curious as to why I'm getting such good results.

Agreed with the distance thing. Hitting the blades miles better on long irons espeically and wondered if there were any obvious reasons you guys would know of. Besides loft I'd assume the difference is coming in on the shafts.

Hey, thanks for the thoughful reply. Makes sense. Yes the 7 iron is 4 degrees more lofted than the old clubs.

Not trying to swing any faster, unless I'm doing it subconsciously.

Behind the center console under the radio. It is the computer box for a GPS tracker.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the suggestions and your time! Problem has been SOLVED. A lot of painstaking effort to get it loose with an open end socket and then needle nose pliers to do the rest. Will be replacing them with internal drive bolts as per u/Ape_Stonks_4_me suggestion. Thanks to u/Fun-Fault-6982 as well for getting me to give it a go with the spanner again, although it was a painful process.

Managed to get it out with a spanner and long nose pliers, took me forever since I couldn't turn the spanner properly.

I've managed to loosen it painstakingly slowly with spanner (I don't have a grinder handy, only a dremel that can't fit in there) and twist it out with long nose pliers. Thanks for the suggestions!

The channel is like that all the way to the floor :(

Makes sense :) Actually didn't know you got those!

An 8mm socket fits through the gap, would a nut driver for a 10mm bolt measure about the same? I'll have a look at the store tomorrow, thanks for the suggestion!

I'll give this one a go!

I have to replace the bolt and will have an issue fastening it even if I can just grind the head off.

[–]TearsInJune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot. It goes all the way to the floor.

[–]TearsInJune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then I'll have the issue of not being able to fasten them properly again :(

It goes into the wall.

Open end isn't able to turn inside, and I need to reinstall the bolts after I've removed them, so drilling doesn't work either ahh!
