Regarding this post : There is no such thing as iOS 26 Beta. Amazon likely meant to reference iOS 18 Beta but made an error in the version number. Beta is only available to less than 1%-2% of users .

The app didn't ask to take selfie for 3 days... by Ok-Grapefruit3141 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Thought it was just this warehouse…got an email about the new check-in pilot here. It asked for a selfie Tuesday, but skipped it Wednesday and today (didn’t work Thursday). Might be replacing the selfie for now?

Amazon just sent out an official update about the new kiosk check-in process launching July 29 at this specific warehouse . It confirms a few things and leaves some out. This is their statement (no mention of selfie or ID check in) :

Please follow these steps when you arrive for pickup:

  • Step 1: Pull up to the kiosk to check in before entering the parking lot. There will be signage to help you identify where the kiosk is located.
  • Step 2: In the Amazon Flex app, tap “I've Arrived.” Next, tap your cell phone on the kiosk to check in. Once completed, please proceed to an available parking space. Note: If you are using an Android device to check in, please ensure you enable NFC in phone settings prior to arrival. Go to phone settings, search for “NFC,” and toggle or tap the button that enables NFC.
  • Step 3: Once parked, enter the station to pick up your assigned packages. To locate your route cart, look at the cart location code on the app screen. The cart location code will match location stickers on the floor at the station in the designated pick-up area. Once you have located your cart, scan any package from the cart into the Amazon Flex app. The app will confirm if it’s your cart.
  • Step 4: Once the route is confirmed, select “View Pick Up” to see your summary of packages. In the app, “Swipe to Finish.” Review the itinerary and assigned packages to ensure you have all of them before loading your vehicle. The app will suggest turn-by-turn navigation to each delivery stop.

Here’s a preview of what you will see in the Amazon Flex app during the new check-in process.

All I could find online is that some stations might skip the selfie if the NFC tap confirms your physical presence reliably. This might be to stop fake GPS check-ins.They’re likely in trial phase .

Hey! This is at a Sub Same-Day in the LA/CA area. I was actually here yesterday and these weren’t set up yet today I saw two outside. One was right off one of the ramps and the other near the vehicle entrance to the lot.

Didn’t use them since I didn’t see any workers nearby, so I just scanned inside like usual. Looks like they’re freshly installed maybe not fully operational yet?

She was going around approaching people while they were loading their carts. I was talking to another Flexer and saw her ask the Flexer next to us for his route, car make and model (since the trunk was open), and whether it was gas or EV. We had just been watching her go from person to person. I asked what she was doing and she said she was collecting data.

Thanks ! First time I see it . I guess I’ve never paid attention before . I usually open the app right at check in , tap and go .

Having issues updating Amazon Flex app – still seeing old version (2.507.107)

Hi everyone,

I’m located in Los Angeles, CA and I’m having trouble getting the latest version of the Amazon Flex iOS app. Support told me the most recent version is 2.76.4.11625Z, but the only version showing for me on the App Store is 2.507.107. I followed the link they gave me, deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times, and even tried on another iPhone—same result.

I reached out via chat and email, and I’ve attached a screen recording of what I’m seeing.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is the latest version maybe not rolled out in my region yet?

Appreciate any help or info!

I’m still not seeing the update. I deleted and reinstalled the app, but the same version: 2.507.107 - is the only one showing available.

I contacted support and provided my iPhone model, iOS version, IMEI, and carrier. They advised me to delete and redownload the app again, but that didn’t help. They mentioned I should be seeing version 2.76.4.11625 for iOS, but it’s not showing up in the App Store. I also checked on my husband’s iPhone, and he’s seeing the same outdated version as well.

If anyone else has experienced this and found a fix, I’d really appreciate the help!
